VOTE BY MAIL:
Every Californian who is registered to vote will get a Mail-In Ballot. LA County begins mailing ballots to registered voters no later than 29 days prior to Election Day.
2 CRITICALLY IMPORTANT THINGS WITH
MAIL IN BALLOTS:
(1) USE THE ENVELOPE THAT CAME WITH YOUR BALLOT.
(2) BE SURE TO SIGN AND DATE THE ENVELOPE! A MAIL-IN BALLOT MUST BE SIGNED IN THE SAME FASHION AS YOU SIGNED ON YOUR VOTER REGISTRATION IN ORDER TO BE COUNTED.
YOU CAN VOTE BY MAIL AS SOON AS YOU RECEIVE YOUR BALLOT.
ONCE YOU HAVE COMPLETED AND SIGNED YOUR MAIL-IN BALLOT, YOU CAN FILE IT UNTIL NOV. 5, 2024:
(1) MAILING IT at any US POST OFFICE IN THE PRE-PAID ENVELOPE THAT COMES WITH YOUR BALLOT (Your ballot must be postmarked by November 5, so it’s advised that you mail your ballot in as early as possible.),
(2) DROPPING IT OFF AT A BALLOT DROP BOX LOCATION (UNTIL 8:00 PM ON NOVEMBER 5, 2024) OR
(3) DROPPING IT OFF AT A VOTE CENTER (DURING VOTING CENTER OPEN HOURS).
