Before the webinar, please take a look at our resources and blog at thecivicscenter.org for some initial ideas! All attendees are encouraged to register their clubs and drives with The Civics Center at tinyurl.com/ClubsDrives. We look forward to staying in touch to help plan and promote voter registration at your high school.
16 and 17 year olds can pre-register to vote in CA. It’s online and super easy. Yet, only 14% of them are preregistered. High Schools should play a role in this, but most of them don’t have the staff or the budget to deal. That’s where The Civics Center comes in, which is an organization started by the amazing Laura B. It’s focused on getting high school students registered. To that end, The Civics Center is hosting a 1 hour webinar to train high school students — like your kids!! — on how to host voter registration drivers in their schools.
