 LA is home to 10 million people — we’re larger than all but 8 states. LA faces huge challenges. Several City Council offices are under investigation for corruption. Students and teachers suffer from massive underfunding of our education system. More than 52,765 human beings are homeless. The good news? You have immense power to make a difference in your own backyard.

LA Forward is here to help. We organize people to stand with marginalized communities so that we can hold local elected officials accountable and pass policies that create a better Los Angeles for everyone.

LA Forward is an incredible organization devoted to mobilizing and organizing on a local level.  Founder, David Levitus has been giving a tutorial on Local Politics to all the local activist groups and they have raved, and claim they wish it had gone on longer!  Now it’s our turn to learn how our crazy-crazy-awesome city works and how we can help make it better. Join us to learn more and get involved..

At the end, we’ll ask for donations to support LA Forward. We invite you to give at whatever level matches your excitement!
