PCH & Malibu Canyon Road
The 21st Annual Chumash Day Powwow will celebrate Native Americans from all over the country, representing hundreds of tribes.
WHERE: Malibu Bluffs Park, 24250 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu, CA 90265 – where Malibu Canyon Road meets PCH.
WHEN: Saturday & Sunday, April 13-14, 10 am – 6:00 pm.
Native American food, craft vendors, tribal ceremonies, and dances will be a part of the event on both days. This is a non-competitive Powwow.
ADMISSION
Chumash Day will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 13-14 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The Powwow is open to all ages. Admission is free. Dogs are allowed, but must remain on a leash and picked-up after.
PARKING
There is no public parking onsite at Malibu Bluffs Park. Parking and shuttle service to and from the event will be available at the corner of Webb Way and Civic Center Way.
Handicap parking spaces are very limited onsite. A handicap-accessible shuttle that can accommodate wheelchairs will be available at the offsite parking lot at Webb Way and Civic Center Way. For assistance or additional information prior to the event, call 310-456-2489 ext. 239.
WEATHER
The Powwow will occur rain or shine. In the event of a serious downpour or other hazardous weather condition, such as lightning and thunder, the event may be stopped for a period of time or cancelled. Cancellations will be reported at 310-317-1364.
