Grassroots Democrats Headquarters offers training every Thursday evening, from 6-7pm, now through Feb. 27, on how to phone bank from the comfort and convenience of your own home. The trainings are for both phone bank leaders and individual phone bankers.
The training is done via Video Conference call, using “Zoom” conference call service.

We all worked around the clock to flip CA 25 blue in 2018. We will KEEP THIS SEAT. An Outstanding Candidate, Christy Smith, Has Stepped Up to the Plate. But ALL HANDS ON DECK will be needed to keep CA-25 blue.
Christy Smith is the CA State Assembly Rep. for the District. Christy has impressive credentials, lives and grew up in CA-25, is running to fill the seat vacated by Katie Hill.
First and foremost, we need to make sure every registered Democrat in the district knows they need to vote for Christy TWICE on their ballot in March: (1) for the Special Election to fill the seat that Katie Hill vacated. Whoever wins the Special Election for CA-25 on March 3, will serve in the US House of Representatives until Nov. 2020, and (2) to vote for Christy Smith on the ballot page for the Primary Race for the November 2020 election. Both the Special Election to replace the seat vacated by Katie Hill, and the Primary Election for the General Election in November, are being held at the same time in CA-25, on March 3. We need you to knock doors and talk to voters to ensure Christy wins the special election in March and we keep CA 25 BLUE.
Grassroots Democrats Headquarters is excited to team up with Sea Change and Women’s March Action to sponsor a series of GOTV canvasses for Christy Smith through Election Day on March 3rd.
Dates for canvass are listed below. Further details on exact times and locations will be provided as we finalize plans in the district.
Grassroots Democrats HQ will provide vans/buses as needed to take volunteers from our Westwood office. Upon RSVP, Grassroots Dems will send you further details. If you take the Grassroots Dem HQ bus to CA 25 to canvass, Grassroots Dems will cover your parking at Grassroots Dems HQ in Westwood, and provide breakfast before leaving for the district.
Lunch, training, and materials will be provided to all volunteers.
